NESTLE Dec.1993-Mar.2007 He had no titles, he came with a couple of ribbons, but most of all, he came to me with a huge heart. I had gone one day to a dalmatian breeders house, to look at her current litter of puppies, with the intention of picking one out. While I was there, she let in this big, liver, five year old dalmatian dog, she had taken back from his previous owner. The lady was annoyed that all he wanted to do was "follow" her around the house, so she gave him back to the breeder. He immediately came over to me and nuzzled into my lap. He looked at me with his big, sad eyes and it was love at first sight for both of us. I asked if I could take him instead of picking a puppy. Well....he came home with me that day to stay. He was my "Gentle Giant" who just wanted to be loved, and I did with all my heart. There is a big hole in it now big guy. I miss tripping over you, Nestle. I miss my brown buddy
Right, Nestle, Ely & Bailey, waiting for Dru to say, "Okay", so they can eat. Ely wasn't very good at it yet!
Clockwise Top left; Pogo, 19 years old when he died, Shasta. 13 years old, and Sheba, 12 years old.
Right before going into the show ring (which he hated) in the mid 90's. He didn't ever finish, because he just didn't enjoy it. He was to much of a gentle soul, with his big sad eyes.
The things they put up with! Nestle, on the right, with his two best buds, Ely and Bailey.
Nestle and me. This was taken in March of 2007, on the day I had to let him go. We spent the whole day nuzzled up together and took one last walk outside, pictured here.
